What are loyalty travel credits?

Loyalty travel credits are thank-you rewards issued to travelers who return to Red Penguin Travel multiple times or participate in elevated or signature experiences — even if they don’t make referrals.

How do I earn loyalty credits?

You may qualify for loyalty credits by:

  • Booking multiple trips over time

  • Participating in elevated experiences (such as river cruises or literary journeys)

  • Traveling as part of a group or Book Club Cruise

  • Being an engaged, repeat traveler within the Red Penguin Travel community

Loyalty credits are awarded based on consistency, journey type, and engagement, not just trip count.

Do I need to refer someone to earn loyalty credits?

No. While referrals are one way to earn rewards, frequent travelers may qualify for credits based on their own travel history alone.

How will I know if I qualify?

Loyalty credits are reviewed internally and applied at the time of booking or after travel completion. If you’re unsure, you’re always welcome to ask.

What can loyalty credits be used for?

Loyalty credits can be applied toward:

  • Future Red Penguin Travel trips

  • Cruises and river cruises

  • Literary travel and Book Club journeys

  • Retreats and curated group experiences

Credits may be applied to most publicly available Red Penguin Travel offerings.

When are loyalty credits issued?

Credits are typically issued:

  • After travel is completed, or

  • At the time of booking for returning travelers

Exact timing may vary depending on the trip type.

Do loyalty credits expire?

Yes. Loyalty credits are valid for 24 months from the date they are issued.

Are loyalty credits cash or transferable?

No. Loyalty credits:

  • Have no cash value

  • Are non-transferable

  • May not be applied to wholesale or agent-only rates

Can loyalty credits be combined with referral credits?

Yes, depending on your community tier. Navigators and Head Penguin Circle members may be eligible for stacked rewards.
